- Toulon, France

I was honored to accompany my clients to help design and decorate their second home located in southern France. It was unforgettable. The countryside, the food, the fashion and the architecture!! We faced a few challenges but with the guidance of some dear (local) friends, we were able to complete their gorgeous new vacation home. I will be forever grateful for this amazing opportunity!
Vive la France!
This apartment building was built in the early 1960’s. This unit started as a 3 bedroom and a previous owner knocked down a wall to incorporate a living space. My clients desired an open concept kitchen/dining so we knocked down another wall and designed a new, more functional kitchen and bar. See below!

This wall was completely removed to open up the kitchen and dining areas.

We are still waiting for backsplash and custom floating shelf to be installed!

The bathroom was the other challenging space. We decided to eliminate the tub and replace with a walk-in shower. This room also housed the washer/dryer combo so we moved that into the kitchen and provided a larger space for a drop-in vanity and mirror. We added a decorative shelf where the vanity used to be. This design really opened up the space and provided better function and storage!
